Dave Bayless

Born and raised in Ohio, Joined the Navy in 1984. Boot Camp in Great Lakes, Illinois July 1984. Graduated Hospital Corps School in February 1985. Served as a General duty Corpsman at Naval Hospital Philadelphia until going to Field Medical Service school in May 1986. Recon Indoc June 1986 and assigned to 2d Recon Bn. Naval Parachutist school September 1986. Deployed with Alpha 1 in 1987. Dive School in 1989 deployed with Charlie 2 of the same year. Special Operators Technician course in 1990 and deployed with Alpha company for Desert Storm. Special Forces Medical Sergeants School in 1991-92 became the first Navy instructor at the long course. Left the Navy in1994

Worked a machinist job in a factory, while taking firefighting exam across the state of Ohio for a year and a half. Took a position with my hometown fire department and went to the Ohio Fire Academy for Firefighting I/II and EMT 1996. Paramedic School at Grant Trauma Center in1997. Became the Search and Rescue President for the county Team and instructed NASAR courses. Part time emergency room Technician and Started an Electrical Contracting Business.

Rejoined the Navy in 2000 and was assigned to 1st Recon Bn. Requalifications ensued. Deployed with Alpha 3 and returned as Charlie12001-02. Upon Returning Assigned as Senior Corpsman for Charlie and Deployed for OIF 2002-03. Assigned to MCMWTC for instructor duty 2003-05. Assigned to Navy Hospital Corps School for instructor duty and Special Operations Recruiting. Final Assignment to 2d MSOB as Hotel Company medical Chief. Deployed 2008. Became Battalion Medical Chief for OEF SOTF82. Retired April 1, 2011

Became a Independent Contractor Teaching TCCC to deploying units until i took a Medical Site Lead position with T1G. I moved to Durango, Colorado area October of 2014 and have since Been hired as a Managing Partner for a soon to open Cidery, Taphouse and Restaurant in Durango.
